Dear all:
There will be a seminar on the coming Tuesday. Prof Wang Xiaodong from
NIBS will give a talk on Biological Sciences research, and recruit people
who are interested in working in China as well. Please check the details
below, and help spread the words to your friends.

TITLE: China Today Seminar -- Biological Sciences Research in China
SPEAKER: Professor Xiaodong Wang, Director of National Institute of
Biological Sciences, Beijing.
DATE: Tuesday, December 7th
TIME: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
ROOM: 2-105
Pizza and drinks will be provided
Dr. Xiaodong Wang, director of the National Institute of Biological
Sciences (NIBS) in Beijing, will speak to us about the current status
and future directions of biological sciences research in China. He
will describe the functions and missions of NIBS. Dr. Wang is
interested to recruit new PI's for NIBS, and he would like to meet
with all biomedical scientists who are interested in going back to
china after the talk.
Speaker Bio: Xiaodong Wang is the director of NIBS in Beijing. He
received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University
of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1991. Dr. Wang
is currently the George L. MacGregor Distinguished
Chair Professor in Biomedical Science, UT-Southwestern,
and an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Dr. Wang is a member of the National Academy of
Sciences U.S.A.
