A reminder...
Karina Meira & Berri Jacque will speak on Teaching Cutting-edge Bio-Med Science in K-12, today at 1:30, rm 76-156 (Koch Building). Meiri and Jacque have developed a model for collaborative curriculum design and implementation using teachers and scientists. Their yearlong biology curriculum is focused on "The Great Diseases" that teachers across the country use to engage students in real-world science and to build knowledge of health and disease (hosted by HHMI Education Group).
