I hope your return to campus is going well!

I wanted to reach out to encourage your sophomores to apply to the UPOP program before next Friday! Thanks for forwarding this email to any of your interested students.

To all Course 7 Sophomores,

What is your step by step plan to explore meaningful career paths?
On a scale of 1-10 how comfortable are you at networking & negotiating job offers?
Do you value learning with a large community of other sophomores & experienced MIT mentors?

UPOP is a yearlong professional development program for sophomores focused on building the relevant and critical skills necessary for a career in industry, research or academia. Throughout the year, student teams work to gain confidence in their communication, problem solving and teamwork skills while achieving career development milestones (~1-2 hours/month). Through interactive workshops, 1:1 coaching, and exclusive UPOP employer, UPOP students are distinctively prepared to submit competitive job and internship applications and be impactful in their careers post-MIT. All MIT sophomores are invited to apply to UPOP. Joining and participating in UPOP is the best way to prepare for and secure a summer internship!
