Subject: Sharing Cell Ag IAP Courses with department
My name is Adil, and I’m the co-founder Cell Ag @ MIT. Cellular Agriculture (or Cell Ag) is an emerging field focused on producing animal products without using animals. For example, using yeast to produce milk and eggs or growing cell lines to make leather and wool.
Our student group is working on spreading awareness at MIT of cellular agriculture, encouraging cellular agriculture research, and preparing MIT students for careers in this field. To that end, we are running a series of IAP classes that we would really appreciate you sharing with students, faculty, and staff in your department.
Students can sign up for the courses with this form: https://forms.gle/x3CPhZdnSgtyZbmU7
Here is list of our courses (link to the IAP course catalog<http://student.mit.edu/iap/nc28.html>):
• Cell Ag Crash Course: a one day overview of cell ag [1/4/21, 1-3 PM EST]
• Intro to Cell Ag: an in-depth dive plus project[MW 1-2:30 PM EST each week]
• Boston-Area Guest Speaker Seminar Series [F 1-2 PM EST each week]
And here is our IAP flyer:
Thanks,
Adil
