The next installment of the Career Fair series is Thursday, October 8. This fair is meant to help you explore internships, jobs, and employers that are in the hardware, robotics, and software industries. No matter what your major, every student is invited!
Since there are so many employers that wanted to participate in this fair, the fair will be split into two sessions, a morning session and an afternoon session. Each session will have different employers attending and different Brazen links for the two sessions. Just to drive the point home, the different sessions can be thought of as two different fairs with different employers and Brazen links.
The fair will be held on the Brazen website, which requires you to create an account and register for the fair at https://tinyurl.com/techfairmorning for the morning session and https://tinyurl.com/techfairafter for the afternoon fair (if you are planning on attending more than one fair this fall, please visit https://career-fair.mit.edu/2020-for-candidates to find registration links to the different career fairs occurring this fall). While you can register up until the morning of the fair, we suggest that you register sooner to ensure that there are no technical bugs getting you onto the platform. The morning session of the fair will begin at 10 AM ET and end at 3 PM ET and the afternoon session of the fair will begin at 3 PM ET and end at 8 PM ET. If you want to see what employers will be recruiting at this fair, you can see the registered employers after registering for this fair. You can also view the registered employers here, on Handshake<https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/17975/>. To determine which employers will be attending which session, the easiest way is to view the employers on the Brazen fair page.
We understand that attending a virtual career fair is new to everyone, so we have created a Student Guide<https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5adb96193c3a5358a58a4d71/t/5f4f08f16d5d88276e2d87bc/1599015154139/studentregistration2020.pdf>, to help guide you through registering on Brazen, navigating the fair, and tips and tricks for attending a virtual career fair!
