I write to request your assistance with the recruitment of a full-time research assistant in my
laboratory at the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular
Medicine/Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Information
regarding this open position is described below -

A full-time research assistant is needed to contribute to state-of-the-art research projects related
to stem cell models of cardiac development and congenital heart disease. Basic molecular
biology skills (e.g. PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA purification, etc.) and experience working with
pluripotent stem cells are preferred but not required. Job duties include cell culture, maintaining
human induced pluripotent stem cell lines, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, DNA purification,
PCR, RNA expression analysis, immunostaining, and manuscript editing/preparation. Some
administrative duties such as supply ordering, tracking, stocking, and lab management tasks will
be required. Applicant must have excellent communication and organizational skills and great
attention to detail. Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree by 7/01/18. We offer
