Research Assistant I Lab

*Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join the Schier Laboratory in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology to support research projects related to genome engineering, behavioral assays, and identification and characterization of zebrafish mutants. Using a zebrafish model system, the Schier Lab aims to understand 1) vertebrate embryogenesis - how signals, non-coding RNAs, and chromatin influence the fate and movement of cells and 2) behavior - how neuropeptides and neural circuits regulate locomotion, sleep, and learning.
