Research Assistant, Dr. George Church, Department of Genetics, Harvard Medical School
We are looking for a qualified and motivated research assistant to work on an exciting project funded by IARPA. This biosecurity-related project aims to develop a high-throughput pipeline to test the pathogenicity of unknown DNA sequences. Please refer to the IAPRA website (https://www.iarpa.gov/index.php/research-programs/fun-gcat/fun-gcat-baa) for more information about the project. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge and prior lab experience on molecular biology is required. The position is a full-time paid position, for a minimum of one year. Candidates who can be dedicated for two or more years are preferred. The research assistant will receive mentorship from a senior graduate student.
