Gearing up for Grad School: A Panel

Come hear current graduate students share their experiences about choosing this path and seeing it through. Learn about the process of applying, interviewing, studying, and balancing the multiple roles of graduate school. The panel will feature students at the MS, JD/MBA, MD, MEng, and PhD levels. The Art of Behavioral Interviewing
Wednesday, October 9, 3:00-4:30pm, 3-370
While your technical skills will get you the interview, it is your behavioral attributes that will get you the job. This session will discuss preparation and strategies for a successful interview. In addition, sample behavioral interview questions will be provided along with tips on how to answer these tough questions. This workshop is open to undergraduate and graduate students, alumni and postdocs. Register on CareerBridge under the events tab.
Job Search for International Students

Come learn how you, as an international student, can develop and enhance your job search and interviewing skills. This workshop will cover job search strategies, visa challenges, how to succeed in the U.S. workplace, interviewing styles and brief cover letter/resume tips. This session will focus specifically on challenges many international students may face when searching for a job and interviewing. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
