Job Summary
The lab's main research focuses on inherited pediatric disorders of
blood cell development that carry a high risk of developing leukemia.
Using the tools of biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, we
are investigating the molecular pathogenesis of these diseases. The
majority of our studies are performed with blood and marrow samples
from patients followed in the hematology clinic at Children's
Hospital. Opportunities to develop independent research projects are
available and encouraged.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required
- You must have a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry or
a closely related field and some lab experience. Recent graduates
welcome to apply.
- Written and Verbal communication skills must be excellent
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
