Two positions at MGH available:

The Center for Neuroimaging in Aging and Neurodegenerative Disease is 
actively recruiting  a Clinical Trials Research Coordinator and 
Clinical Research Coordinator to support ongoing research.  The 
Center is located in Boston, a part of Massachusetts General 
Hospital, and focuses on exploiting the capabilities of Magnetic 
Resonance Imaging to establish novel biomarkers in aging and diseased 
brains and to elucidate the neuropathology of  neurodegenerative 
diseases such as Huntington's and Alzheimer's.  These positions are 
particularly well-suited for candidates considering graduate studies, 
especially in psychology or medicine, but desiring first an 
opportunity to do some hands-on, cutting-edge research.

CLINICAL TRIALS RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
-	Coordinate several studies simultaneously
-	Oversee patient visits; must be comfortable working with 
patients who have a difficult neurological disease and their families
-	Maintain regulatory documentation, perform some data 
collection and entry
-	Some phlebotomy will be involved

Experience:
-	A bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field

Desired:
-	Candidates who are able to multi-task and work independently
-	Experience working with patients with psychological, 
cognitive, and/or motor deficits desired, but not prerequisite
-	Some research experience is preferred

Candidates willing to make a two-year commitment are preferred.

US citizenship is required for this position.  The Massachusetts

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
-	Function as lab coordinator in support of multiple key 
functions of the department (i.e. database maintenance, scheduling, 
other administrative duties)
-	Coordinate and submit new and existing research protocols to 
the MGH IRB
-	Administer MRI research scans and neuropsychological test 
batteries to patients and healthy controls
-	Coordinate observational clinical research trials

Experience:
-	A bachelor's degree is required

Desired:
-	Responsible, hard-working individual who is able to 
multi-task and to work independently
-	Experience working with patients with psychological, 
cognitive, and/or motor deficits
-	Some research experience preferred

Candidates willing to make a two year commitment are preferred.
