Hey everybody,
Welcome to The Triple Helix, MIT's newest club. The Triple Helix is
the undergraduate journal of science, society, and law at MIT.
Primarily through the venue of written expression, our goal is to
promote the understanding of the impact of science and technology on
society and their interaction with the law. Our aim is to encourage
critical analysis and debate of the most legally and socially
important issues in science through the free exchange of ideas within
the MIT community. Article topics focus on the intersections between
science, society, and law, ranging in subjects from intellectual
property law
to healthcare policies to the impacts of specific scientific research and more.
Our First meeting is this coming thursday, september 29th at 9pm in
room 32-155 (Stata Building). We will be discussing who we are as a
club and talking about various positions you can apply for. There are
a variety of leadership positions available including writing,
editing, production, design etc. Come and stop by, there is FREE FOOD.
If you have any questions, feel free to email back or visit our
website at www.thetriplehelix.org
See you all there!
