-  Today is the welcome reception for new majors -- sophomores and 
other course 7 declarations.  If you're new to the department, come 
to 68-181 at 5:00pm to meet Professors Hazel Sive and Jianzhu Chen. 
Feel free to bring questions.

-  A reminder that the deadline for submitting an online degree 
application for Feb 2006 graduation is tomorow (Friday, September 
9th).  Applications submitted after tomorrow's deadline are assessed 
a late fee.

- Looking for work?  Dr. Leona Samson's lab is looking for a UROP.
