Please see attached flyer for information on a new course BE.309:
Biological Instrumentation and Measurement Lab.

Sensing and measurement aimed at quantitative molecular/cell/tissue
analysis in terms of genetic, biochemical, and biophysical
properties. Methods include PCR, mass spectrometry, light and
fluorescence microscopies, and electro-mechanical probes (atomic
force microscopies, laser and magnetic traps, MEMS devices).
Application of statistics, probability and uncertainty analysis to
experimental data. Enrollment limited to 12.

P. So, C.F. Dewey, Jr., M. Lang, S. Manalis, W. Thilly, I. Hunter, B.
Engelward, L. Griffith, N. Kuldell

Lecture: TR 12-1pm 56-180, Lab TR 1-5 (TBA)

Contact Prof. Peter So (ptso at mit.edu) if you are interested in
enrolling or have any questions about the course. Students from all
undergraduate majors (ME, ChemE, physics, biology, EECS, etc.) are
encouraged to attend.
