Subject: [ASA-Official] 2025-2027 Final Space Allocation

Dear Student Group Leaders,

Please read the following announcements carefully:

  *
Final Space Allocations

Final Space Allocations
Twelve groups appealed to the draft allocation. Unfortunately, the board was unable to accommodate all the appeals received. Due to the space constraints and club needs, the space committee will meet individually with some sets of groups that could potentially share a room/locker. Before checking the Final Space Allocation spreadsheet, please note the meaning of the status:

  *
Continuing allocation: groups that retained the same space from the previous cycle.
     *
Required action: President should complete the space agreement for 2025-2027<https://cglink.me/2cy/s949>.
  *
Fresh Allocation: a group will move in for the first time to a given space.
     *
Required actions: President should complete the space agreement for 2025-2027<https://cglink.me/2cy/s949>. After that, give the members receiving access to the space the Space Signatory tag in Engage and contact caclocks at mit.edu<mailto:caclocks at mit.edu> with the list of people who are getting access (names and kerbs). Please note that access to student organization spaces should be limited to currently enrolled MIT students who are also active members of the organization.
     *
Move-in/Move-out process: These clubs will also receive an email regarding the logistics of this process since some move-ins depend on other groups.
  *
Mediated Transition: Before moving in, groups in this status must schedule a meeting with the space committee to discuss the feasibility of sharing the space. This is necessary to avoid tensions between new and existing occupants. The committee will email affected groups shortly with details on how to schedule this meeting.

Finally, you can find the final space allocations here: Final Space Allocation 2025-2027<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iuPaP-xk8_1HaiQtuEhGR5qSkpEOAb_ou6kfyC7sDVw/edit?gid=0#gid=0>. Please make sure to check the second sheet of the spreadsheet for locker allocations. We appreciate your participation and patience in this process.

Best,
Hana Sousa
ASA Space Chair
