Please resubmit your applications for funding on the LEF/ARCADE website<http://web.mit.edu/asa/resources/large-events.html> even if the event has already taken place. The deadline to submit for first round allocations will be February 1, 2018 at 11:59pm. A second round allocation cycle will be due February 7th, 2018 at 11:59pm. The ASA greatly apologies for this inconvenience.

2. ASA Space Cycle -- Allocations Released / Appeals Due Feb. 1

This year’s space allocations are available to view HERE<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E1OPZEh5C2KC5CQgH0KcqzmIiKhoaUbGzF7Qw9OxBPE/edit#gid=0>. Appeals to these allocations will be due Feb. 1 at 11:59pm. We will send expected move in/out dates in a future email after appeals have been considered.

In the past, ASA space allocations have been conducted every two years. However, as renovations begin to take place on the fourth floor of the student center, please be aware that the ASA may need to increase the frequency of space allocations temporarily to fully accommodate student groups. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please be advised that office inspections are scheduled to begin January 31st. During these inspections, ASA and CAC will be analyzing use of space and space safety. CAC will offer aid in office cleanouts to take place in the first few weeks of the spring semester.

If you have any questions on space, please email asa-space at mit.edu<mailto:asa-space at mit.edu>. The current ASA Operating Guidelines (Article VII) dictate our rules for space allocation and can be found here<http://web.mit.edu/asa/rules/pdf/ASA-Operating-Guidelines.pdf>.

-------------------------------------------------------

Please feel free to email asa-exec at mit.edu with any requests, questions, or other inquiries.

Sincerely,

The ASA Executive Board
