Please take note of the following announcements:

1. Groups losing locker space move out date (3/14/2014)

Groups which are losing locker space need to remove the contents of their
lockers by 3/14/2014 and return the keys to the locker at or before that
time. There will be a *$75* fee for each key that is not returned to cover
lock-smith costs. Keys may be left at SAO (W20-549) for the ASA (please put
in an envelope labeled 'ASA--key return').

2. MIT Branding Guidelines

The MIT Communications Production Services office has released new
guidelines regarding student group branding. The guidelines are designed to
ensure branding consistency throughout MIT's web presence and to create an
immediate connection to MIT through correct use of the logo and name. At
minimum, they would like groups to include the MIT logo at the top of the
page and include the full spelling of the MIT name (''Massachusetts
Institute of Technology'') somewhere on the page. Although they are not
strict requirements, the CPS office strongly recommends that all student
groups follow their guidelines.

3. LEF/ARCADE Deadline (3/3/2014)

The deadline to submit applications to the Large Event Fund (LEF) and the
Assisting Recurring Cultural And Diversity Events (ARCADE) fund is 3/3/2014
at 11:59PM EDT. This deadline is for events occurring between April 1, 2014
and June 30, 2014. The application and more information about the funds are
available online: <http://web.mit.edu/asa/resources/large-events.html>.

You are encouraged to meet with someone from the Student Activities Office
to discuss your application, particularly if it is for a new event or you
are making substantial changes to your event.  You MUST meet with the
Student Activities Office to discuss an event if it will involve paying a
speaker or performer.  You can contact Alana Hamlett, <ahamlett at mit.edu>,
or Joel Pettigrew, <joelp at mit.edu>, about scheduling an appointment.

You are also strongly encouraged to meet with the LEF/ARCADE board members
before submitting your application by scheduling an appointment with us
(contact the ASA Treasurer, <asa-treasurer at mit.edu>) or by visiting our
office hours.  Please check our online calendar, <
http://web.mit.edu/asa/about/office-hours.html>, for LEF/ARCADE office
hours, as well as general ASA office hours.

4. Bulletin Board Postering Reminder

Reminder: please do not poster over other group's private postering spaces.
The ASA will assess a $25 fine for posters it finds outside of public
postering spaces.

5. Tentative Space Moving Timeline

We are tentatively planning to have groups move during the spring break
period, but will release more details later, as the appeals process
continues. Thank you for your patience!

6. CPW Midway Application Open (due 3/28/2014)

The application for a booth at the CPW Activities Midway can be found at <
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16r3p9C9KQL2WoKzjjp6u7o3R35_di9dp7Gjywk9Isc0/viewform>.
Applications are due on March 28th at 11:59 PM EDT. Please fill these out
as soon as possible, however. The Midway will take place from 1-3PM on
Saturday, April 12, 2014, during CPW.
