[Asa-official] LEF/ARCADE Deadline for IAP & Spring Periods

Dear Student Groups,

The application deadline for *BOTH* the IAP and Spring periods for the Large
Event Fund (LEF) and ARCADE fund is Wednesday, November 22nd.

The application is online at:
http://web.mit.edu/asa/resources/large-events.html and must be turned in to
the SLP office in W20-549.

After soliciting feedback from some several applicants, many of you felt
that knowing the amounts of the grants about 2 to 3 months in advance of
your event would give you proper time to either find additional funding
sources or go ahead and confirm the event with guests/speakers/performers.

By being able to review the applications after Thanksgiving break, the
LEF/ARCADE Board will thus be able to give groups about 10 weeks notice
before the start of the Spring period, when most of your major events will
occur.

If your group requires an extension into the Thanksgiving break, please
email asa-treasurer at mit.edu to request one.
