[AAA] Attend AAI Power Hour Thursday 6-8 PM!!

tl;dr join AAI for their power hour Thursday, March 17 from 6-8pm in 5-233 for a poster making session to help in launching their Institute Recommendations!

For the last year and a half, AAI has been working on writing Institute Recommendations to MIT outlining how Asian communities on campus believe MIT can facilitate an inclusive and welcoming environment for Asian American students. These recommendations were prompted by the rise in anti-Asian hate these past few years and particularly after the Atlanta spa shootings last March 2021. To make sure the everyone learns about AAI's statement and signs on to show support, they would really love to have help! One of their efforts in launching the recommendations is to host a power hour this Thursday, March 17 from 6-8pm in 5-233 where various Asian American cultural groups are welcome to come and make protest inspired posters (or any other posters that you feel represent an inclusive MIT community/what being AAPI means to you) for a Lobby 7 display that will go up that Monday the 28th. The plan is to have these posters displayed on the left pillar of Lobby 7. There will be snacks :3 and all supplies will be provided!
