Don't miss the fellowship deadline on Monday, January 5, 2009 for the CIS
administered research fellows program at the Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace.

Main features of the program:
* Carnegie runs an annual national competition to select 8-10
graduates to be research fellows in its DC offices.
* Applicants must be graduating seniors or have graduated within the
past year. They may not have started graduate school.
* Successful applicants are matched with a senior
associate--academics, former government officials, lawyers and journalists
from around the world--to work on a variety of international affairs issues.
* Fellowships begin August 1, 2009.
* Applicants do not have to be US citizens but they must be eligible
to work in the US for the year of the fellowship.
* Anyone interested in applying should contact Casey Johnson-Houlihan
