Sl-election-analytics -- State & local election analytics listserv

About Sl-election-analytics
English (USA)

Welcome to the State and local election analytics mailing list! This is an Internet Listserv hosted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This list is for discussion of data-analysis issues related to the administration of elections. It is managed by Professor Charles Stewart III of the MIT political science department.

The group is private, consisting primarily of employees of federal, state, and local election departments who are responsible for the analysis of data for the purpose of administering elections. At the present time, we ask that others not join the list, but that may change in the future.

This list provides a forum for the discussion of general data issues related to election administration, as well as serving as a place where election data analysts can seek advice about data-analytic issues and share news that is of general interest to the community.

This list exists for the benefit of its members. Members may describe what they learn from posting on the list, but should not quote posted comments or attribute ideas to specific individuals without the consent of those individuals.

The list is offered in the spirit of encouraging open and free discussion of data-related issues in the administration of elections. The manager reserves the right to remove members if they abuse the list's purpose.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Sl-election-analytics Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
