Note to any receiving this: We are updating this mailing list to include emeritus and post-tenure professors! If you have already opted-out of the list, we apologize and ask that you do so just this once more. In the future we'll be adding only new members (we don't have our own access to the databases of faculty Kerberos IDs...) This opt-out mailing list is for faculty members, including emeritus and post-tenure professors, to receive communications about the Pulse of the Faculty polling tool (https://facultypulse.mit.edu/). This should be very low-traffic, not for discussion, and only to give information such as new questions posted or site outages. Users are not allowed to post to this list to spare all of our inboxes. Traffic is expected at approximately one email per week. This is an opt-out mailing list, per overwhelming (but not unanimous) faculty responses to a previous Pulse of the Faculty question. If you would like to leave this mailing list, simply unsubscribe using the links to control your settings in this welcome message. Unsubscribing from the mailing list will not preclude you from voting, and you can rejoin at any time. Each week, we will use this list to (1) announce the new week's questions, (2) mention any new features or major bug fixes as applicable, and (3) inform you of any site outages if they occur. Using Facultypulse-users
To post a message to all the list members, send email to facultypulse-users@mit.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Facultypulse-users
Subscribe to Facultypulse-users by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
