OpenScholar - SAAS solution for academic institutions

We will talk about OpenScholar as a SAAS website builder application. How we leverage Drupal  to build a multi-tenant application where a single install of the software hosts multiples websites<http://projects.iq.harvard.edu>. How academic institutions can take advantage of OpenScholar to offer web support to their constituents and also address some of their common challenges in the digital space, including cost, institutional repositories, identity/branding, and searching.

Bio:
Ferdi Alimadhi is a software architect with more than 15 years of experience building software applications of different scales.  He currently works at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University leading the OpenScholar project. He is also the lead architect for the Harvard Web Publishing Initiative.
