[TCCM] Summer Seminar for Women

Lumen Christi, an institute located at the University of Chicago with the mission to make the Catholic intellectual tradition a vital part of the culture of today’s university, is offering a weeklong summer seminar for women ages 18-40 at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery.  Lumen Christi writes, “this Trappistine Community at Crozet, Virginia lives according to a continual tradition of Christian monasticism.  This seminar will offer the possibility of not only learning the guiding principles that foster a good and balanced life according to the monastic tradition, but of putting them into practice, since it is experience alone that leads not only to correct understanding but to real wisdom.”

This is an excellent opportunity for a woman discerning a call to the religious life, but also for any woman interested in the monastic way of life and spirituality.  The seminar / retreat is fully funded including travel stipend for accepted applicants.
