Join us this Monday, 11/6 at 8:15 PM as we continue the discussion on Friday's Thomistic Institute Talk, "Does Physics Leave Any Room for Free Will?" given by Father Thomas Davenport, OP, and Ph.D., regarding modern science and human choice. Pizza will be served

=== (2) Gold Mass for Scientists ===
On the Feast of Albert the Great, patron saint of scientists, Fr. Nicanor Austriaco, O.P. (PhD '96) will celebrate a special Mass for Scientists. It will be Tuesday, November 14, at 6:30 PM. in the MIT Chapel. There will be a reception in W11 to follow. This event is co-sponsored by the Society of Catholic Scientists, and off-campus scientists are invited: https://www.catholicscientists.org/events/20171114-gold-mass-MIT

=== (3) Memorial Mass ===
On Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 12:05 PM a Memorial Mass will held for all deceased members of the TCC and their families. If you would like someone to be remembered at that Mass, send us the names to: catholic at mit.edu<mailto:catholic at mit.edu>.

=== (4) Graduate Student Email List ===
Join the tcc-grads email list (go to MIT's WebMoria list manager) to hear about upcoming events for TCC graduate students.

=== (5) Register for FORMED.ORG ===
The TCC has received a grant to provide access to FORMED.org - the Augustine Institute's online gateway to a whole bunch of Catholic formational content, including podcasts, videos (many pitched at children), and e-books. (Think of it as a Catholic version of Amazon Prime). To register for free, go to https:/formed.org/home?code=J8VGDK and enter your email.

=== (6) Melchizedek Group for Priestly Vocations ===
Fr. Moloney will lead a reading and discussion group about the nature of the priestly vocation and how to discern if God is calling us to the "ancient order of Melchizedek" (Heb. 5:6, 7:17).
Meeting times Mondays at 3:45pm in W20-450
To attend doesn't mean that you are thinking about entering the seminary, or even that you're not dating. It can simply mean that you're interested in supporting others think about the priesthood.

=== (7) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and Course in the Fundamentals of the Catholic Faith ===
Fr. Moloney will be offering a class in the fundamentals of the Catholic faith that will cover everything from the Trinity to Church history to the Sacraments, prayer, and the moral life. It is meant to be both a high-level introduction to the faith appropriate for interested non-Catholics, and a serious review of the faith for those who are Catholics. It is required for those who want to enter the Church. Classes will be held at 2:45pm on Sundays in W11/Small Dining Room. For more info contact (dmoloney at mit.edu<mailto:dmoloney at mit.edu>).

=== (8) FOCUS Bible Study ===

=== (9) Spaghetti Suppers ===
Join the TCC every Friday night from 7-9 PM in the W11 Community Room for a free spaghetti supper! This is a time for food, fellowship, and fun.

=== (10) BBMSK (Back Bay Mobile Soup Kitchen) ===
We serve homeless communities in Back Bay and Cambridge giving out socks, sandwiches, and a friendly presence to folks we come across on the street. When? 6:00 PM on Tuesdays at W11 or 6:00 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays in front of St. Clement's Shrine. For more info, visit bbmsk.org!

=== (11) Fiat ===
A discernment group for single women considering a vocation to religious life in the Catholic Church. The next meeting is Wednesday, November 29 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine, 1105 Boylston St., Boston.
