- Mardi Gras Party (02/06) Noon-3:30
MIT MARDI GRAS / CARNIVAL CELEBRATION
This Sunday, February 6th, 12:00 am – 3:30 pm in Walker Memorial (Bld
50)
The Tech Catholic Community, MIT European Club, and Colombian
Association of MIT invite you along with your family and friends to the
third annual MIT Carnival / Mardi Gras celebration.  Come relax, have
fun, and learn about some of the pre-Lenten customs and traditions from
around the world.  There will be free food and non-alcoholic drinks,
pinatas, face painting, beads, masks, music, and fun for everyone! 
This event was made possible through ARCADE Funding.

- February Retreat (02/11-02/13)
Our winter retreat will be in Bethel, Maine from the 11th to the 13th. 
Sign-up today - spaces are limited.  If you would like to go, send Fr.
Paul an email - catholic at mit.edu.

- Ash Wednesday Dinner Fund-raiser ($3.50)
Looking for a "fast" meal on Ash Wednesday night?  The World Youth Day
committee invites you for a simple dinner consisting of soup, bread and
drinks for only $3.50.  Soup will be served after the 7PM service at 8PM
in the Main Dining Room of W11.  Questions?  Contact Jeanne Lafortune at
jlafor at mit.edu.

Ongoing Events

- Monday Nights
TCC Monday night will resume on February 7th.  Come next week to kick
off the new term.

- Prayer This Week
Liturgy of the Hours - M-F 7:15am, 6:15pm, Sat 7:00am, 4:00pm, Sun
8:30am, 6:15pm.
Rosary - daily 15 minutes after the start of Liturgy of the Hours.
Meet in Chapel.  Contact Joel (joel_f at mit.edu) for more information.
If you don't see us in the chapel we are probably either downstairs
or just outside the chapel. 

- Eucharistic Adoration
* Join us Tuesday 7:00pm for Eucharistic Adoration in the
Chapel.
* Wednesday Eucharistic Adoration- Chapel 7-8:30- So never know what to
do during silent adoration? After 10 minutes do you just have nothing
else to pray? Do you really want to spend more time in front of the
Blessed Sacrament? This Wednesday, Eucharistic adoration will be
accompanied by praise and worship music. So come by and sing your heart
out while praising Jesus who will most certainly be there. Contact

- Mid-Week Mass
Join us Tuesday and Friday for Mass from 12:05pm - ~12:35pm in the
Chapel.

We need help to make Mardi Gras a success-Please volunteer for one of
the following shifts:
8-10am Cooking, 2 people needed
10-12 Decorating and Setup, 10 people needed
12-2 Booth Work, 8 people needed
2-4 Booth Work, 8 people needed
4-5 Cleanup, 6 people needed
