[Tango-A] NA-E: Workshops & Milonga Qilombo in Philadelphia This Weekend with Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales

Hi everyone,

I'm writing to let you know about two wonderful dancers from Buenos Aires,
Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales, who are in residence at the
Philadelphia Argentine Tango School from now through the end of March.
 Alejandro & Marisol's dancing ranges from pure tradition to mind-blowing
innovation. Rich in musicality and impeccable technique, their performances
are riveting, and their teaching is skillful and precise. Alejandro &
Marisol have completed more than 15 tours worldwide to teach seminars and
perform in tango shows and festivals, but have never before done an
extended residency/tour in the US.  You can learn much more about Alejandro

In addition to teaching regular weekly classes, Alejandro & Marisol will
give two full weekends of workshops during their residency, the first of
which is THIS WEEKEND, February 22/23.  Here's the schedule for the
weekend, including workshops and Milonga Qilombo with Alejandro & Marisol
performing, and DJ Damian Lobato.

Saturday, February 22 - Intermediate/Advanced Workshops
2-3:30 pm: Giros - Alterations in the Positions and Changes of Musicality
4-5:30 pm: Combinations of Soltadas with Other Movements
8:30-9:30 pm: Pre-Milonga Class taught by Alejandro & Marisol
9:30 pm-2 am: Milonga Qilombo featuring DJ Damian Lobato and a performance
by Alejandro & Marisol

Sunday, February 23 - Partners-Only Advanced Workshops
2-3:30 pm: Changes of Direction with Ganchos
4-5:30 pm: Connection in Different Types of Embrace
