The Chicago Mini Tango Festival (www.chicagotangofestival.com) will be held in less than four weeks at the Hilton Rosemont from April 18-21. Come join us, our wonderful instructors, and our guests from over 5 countries and 33 states.

Instructors and DJs
The instructors include Marcela Duran, Osvaldo Natucci and Enriqueta Kleinman, Alicia Pons, Oscar Casas and Ana Miguel, and Eva Garlez and Pablo Rodriquez. DJs include Osvaldo Natucci, Pablo Rodriguez, Linda Valentino, Derrick Del Pilar, and Paul Akmajian.  We have added Jason Laughlin, Daniel Noce, and Daniel Noce as Guest instructors, and Barry Gillaspie, Ashvin Iyer, and Isabella Szymonowicz as Guest DJs. 

Vendors & Services
We are delighted to have Raquel Shoes, tango shoe designer and manufacturer
from Buenos Aires - her first time in the United States; Diva Boutique (Kathleen Ahearn Prucher) with her fabulous collection from Buenos
Aires of exquisite shoes and clothing designed to dance; Tangoleva with her
fabulous fashions for Argentine Tango Dancers; and Soft Chocolates, Tango
Inspired Designs at the Festival this year.

Mike Ferguson, a massage therapist from Portland, will be joining the Festival for the first time. His specialty is in foot massage therapy and reflexology.

Workshop Enrollment
Priority for workshop selection is based on your registration date for the Festival. Once a class reaches its limit, registration for that class will close. Several classes are now closed to followers.

Registration
Registration is restricted for followers wanting to sign up for Workshop Passes at the Festival. There are however a few slots left for couples who register together or a single follower who registers with a leader.  Followers also may request to be put on the waiting list for Workshop Passes by sending an email to info at chicagotangofestival.com .   We have added very limited number of single day Workshop Passes (Thursday & Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) for couples and leaders. Day passes include all workshops and milongas on the designated day(s).

A limited number of Milonga passes are still available for leaders and
followers.  And a very limited number of two day Milonga passes (Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday) are available.

Master Classes
During the Festival, there will be two Master Classes for the advanced dancer taught by Marcela Duran (1 -The Embrace of Marcela and Gavito, and 2 - Secrets of Marcela and Gavito, including the Bullfighter Concept), in addition to one Master Class taught by Alicia Pons (Teacher Training Class). At present, there are only a couple of spaces left in the two Marcela Duran Master Classes.

The Master Classes are not part of the Festival package and are limited to
individuals that purchase the Full Festival, Saturday Arrival, Student Festival, or Day workshop pass. 

Intensive Beginner Program
We will have a three-day Intensive Workshops for Beginners for those who have never danced tango or have danced tango for less than one year. The three-day, five class program, taught by Oscar Casas & Ana Miguel, Enriqueta Kleinman &  Osvaldo Natucci, and Eva Garlez & Pablo Rodriguez. The workshops will have a limited enrollment. Please email info at chicagotangofestival.com prior to registering for the class.

Lodging
The Festival will be held at the Rosemont Hilton from Thursday, April 18 through Sunday, April 21, 2013. The Rosemont Hilton is almost sold out, with only very limited number of single nights available at the special $109+tax/rate per night for 1-4 people in the room. The cut-off date is March 28, 2013.

A limited number of overflow blocks or rooms been setup at two nearby hotels. The Hyatt Regency located across the street from the Rosemont Hilton has rooms available for $119 for 1 or 2 people with complimentary parking.  The Aloft O'Hare is offering a $99 rate for a standard two Queens or a standard King.  The Aloft is less than a mile from the Rosemont Hilton and will be offering a complimentary shuttle to and from the Rosemont Hilton.
