Blas Clemente Catrenau, dancing 60 years, is one of the great treasures of
the Buenos Aires milongas. Blas dedicated his life to Tango beginning in
1950. He debuted at age 13 in neighborhood festivals, dancing with his
mother. By 18, he shone on the dance floors of Boedo, Almagro, Palermo and
the famous halls of Gran Av. Corrientes. Blas can walk the floor with a
great presence, but also employs a playful musicality. His style represents
the dances of the 1940s and 1950s and he dances with passion and joy. In
2002, he won the Metropolitan Championship in the salon division of the
Fourth International Tango festival of the Republic of Argentina. He began
teaching in 2001, and teaches at the prestigious University of Tango. He
works as Master Class teacher, preparing and training future generations of
social dancers and professionals. Enriqueta Kleinman has danced tango for
over 15 years. She is noted for her musicality and the creativity of her
adornments. She teaches group and private classes in Buenos Aires. She is an
expert in Salon Tango - Milonguero Style, Tango Waltz and Milonga. She also
specializes in teaching technique for women and has led many courses and
seminars. Enriqueta has taught and performed in the U.S in San Diego,
Portland, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Iowa, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas and
Seattle, as well as Canada and Europe. She also speaks fluent English,
