talented visiting instructor, Ernest Williams!!!...


BIO.: 

...Based in the Hampton Roads area. Ernest Williams first discovered Tango in 
2000. He has conducted workshops, seminars and/or dance exhibitions across the 
country, in cities such as Richmond, Charlotte, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, 
Buffalo, Cleveland, Nashville, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, 
Albuquerque, San Francisco and Honolulu,. He has also taught several intensive 
tango and milonga seminars in Montevideo, Uruguay and Buenos Aires, Argentina 
during his 6-month residency in the Rio de la Plata region. Ernest lists as his 
teachers and greatest influences: Fernando Fillipelli (Monterey, CA), George 
Garcia (Hawaii); Susana Miller (developer of Milonguero style); Facundo Posadas 
(Argentina); Sharna Fabiano (D.C.); Carina Losano (Argentina, D.C.); Marta Anton 
& Manolo (Argentina, Canyengue); and Elena Villarino (Uruguay).

Find ways to minimize moves that you use most often and minimize your space.

Workshop# 3: VARIOUS VALS RHYTHMS.
Explore various ways to add your own rhythm and musicality to the dance. 
11am-12:15pm. (Int./Adv.).

Workshop #4: BEGINNING CANYENGUE FOR THE EXPERIENCED TANGO DANCER. 
Add some cool to your dance, which transports you back to the times of "la vieja 
guardia" (the old guard); and bring it to the future!. 12:45pm-2pm.

Workshop #5: ERNEST'S FAVORITE MOVES.
Learn some cool useful combinations tat Ernest frequently uses on the dance 
floor!. 2pm-3:15pm.
