SEPTEMBER 2 - 5: SPECIAL LABOR DAY ALL-MUSICALITY WEEKEND!
(All classes at Hollywood Dance Center in Los Angeles)
This is a new program that Gustavo and Maria have created with a special
twist: it includes film clip examples of several couples that Gustavo and
Maria admire and shows the different ways these couples use the music in
tango, milonga and vals. With one of the most amazingly musical couples
ANYWHERE... teaching the workshops you have TANGO HEAVEN for experienced
dancers! THESE CLASSES WILL BE GEARED TO INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED
DANCERS.

WE ARE ARRANGING AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR OUT-OF-TOWN VISITORS,
SO COME AND JOIN US!

Friday, Sept. 2nd, 8:30 - 10 pm: Class 1: "General Concepts of Musicality"
followed by practica, 10 - midnight

Saturday, Sept. 3rd, 1 - 2:25 pm: Class 2: "Expressing the Rhythm"
2:35 - 4 pm: Class 3: "Dancing to the Melodies"
MILONGA LOS AMIGOS Saturday night in Pasadena with performance by Gustavo &
Maria

Sunday, Sept. 4th, 1 - 2:25 pm: Class 4: "Dancing to the Musical Special
Effects"
2:35 - 4 pm: Class 5: "Using The Music to Make The Follower Shine!"

Monday, Sept. 5th: Barbecue at Linda's house

COST: There will be two packages, payable by check, cash or PayPal:
Package A: All five classes, practica, milonga & barbecue $140 (+$5 if using
credit card or PayPal credit on PayPal)
Package B: Classes 1, 2 & 3, practica, milonga & barbecue: $100 (+$3.50 if
using credit card or PayPal credit on PayPal)
You cannot take classes 4 & 5 without taking classes 1, 2 & 3 because these
are progressive classes.

Gustavo and María teach regular classes at the historic SALÓN CANNING in
Buenos Aires. Their clear, technique-based teaching methods are in demand at
festivals and workshops all over the world. They are loved by all their
students. Representative of the new generation of milongueros, they dance
tango salon as it is danced in the dance halls of Buenos Aires. They are
especially known for their musicality, agility and their elegant but playful
and creative style of social dance. Maria's lightening-fast feet will amaze
you!

Gustavo is also the author of "The New Glossary of Tango Dance," which will
