One Week until the Chicago Mini Tango Festival

The 2011 Chicago Mini Tango Festival (www.chicagotangofestival.com) will start in one week. The 6th annual Festival will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare from Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17, 2011.  Come join our wonderful teachers, djs, and musical artist for a weekend of social dancing and learning.  We will be adding two all night milongas during the weekend. Online registration for the Hyatt Regency ends on Friday, April 8, 2011.

INSTRUCTORS AND DJS
This year's we plan to have a wonderful group of milonguero instructors including: Maria Plazaola,  Blas Clemente Catrenau, Enriqueta Kleinman,  Gustavo Benzecry, Maria
Olivera, Liz Haight, Masami Hirokawa, and Robert Hauk.  Maria Plazaola will be making a special trip to attend the Festival, and we are delighted to have Blas Clemente Catreanu join us in his first teaching visit to the United States. You will be entertained by five great visiting DJs in Robert Hauk, Linda Valentino,  Derrick Del Pilar,  Maria
Olivera, all playing the best traditional music. 



HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Discounted rates for The Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel are available online until April 8th.  The discounted $115/night rate is available for 1-4 people.  The Hyatt provides complimentary 24 hour shuttle service from O'Hare airport! It is 25 minutes from downtown Chicago on CTA blue line! There is a 24 hour Stay Fit Gym. REGISTRATION
To register for the Festival, go to this link: http://chicagotangofestival.com/Payment_Registration.php . Registration is only available through PayPal.  No mail-in registrations will be accepted.   The full festival pass is $260; for the Saturday Arrival festival pass is $210; and for the full festival student pass is $160.  There are other options available, including day passes and a milonga pass.  

PRIVATE LESSONS
The instructors to the festival will be giving private lessons during the Festival.  Please contact us at lessons at chicagotangofetival.com to schedule a lesson.  Several instructors will arrive before the Festival and stay after the Festival and will be available for private lessons. The instructors include Maria Plazaola, Enriqueta Kleinman & Blas Catrenau, and Maria Olivera & Gustavo Benzecry.
