[Tango Dancers]

Daniela and Sergei offer a rare combination of art, dance, music and  
life. They have found in their tango embrace, a way to express a  
peaceful, inspirational, enjoyable and unique art form.

Their instruction is based on a unique vision.  Their different and  
similar background experiences mesh into a clear method, developing  
body movement into dancing in a very natural, fluid, organic and  
traditional way.

Daniela and Sergei started dancing together in 2010. Maestro Surgei  
Tumas traveled worldwide, performing and teaching dance in many  
countries, including Argentina, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, the  
United States, to name a few. In 2009, Maestro Tumas produced and  
directed Tango Nuevo Caberet, a tribute to Astor Piazzola, featuring  
legendary musicians and renowned dancers at the Pasadena Civic Center,  
followed by his most recent production Tango Ultimo Show at the Stars  
Theatre in Los Angeles, May 2010. Sergei and Daniela were the featured  
tango couple of the show, performing as actors and dancers to rave  
reviews, at Beyond the Stars Theatre, October, 2010
Sergei has choreographed for numerous commercials, Hollywood films,  
and TV dance shows, including "Dancing with the Stars" in which he  
choreographed for champions Mark Ballas and Shawn Johndon; Derek Hough  
and Nicole Scherzinger.

Not to be missed if you appreciate tango at its highest form!

4:00-5:30PM Milonga Traspie: pivots, adornments, and musical  
interpretation.

1:30PM-3:00PM Building your vocabulary with Barridas (Sweeps & Drags),  
leg wraps, boleos: the beautiful and elegant Boleo (aka "Voleo") is  
explored from basic Back Ochos to more advanced combinations and  
ganchos (hooks): a gancho is a sharp move when a dancer hooks a leg  
around a partner's leg by bending the knee and then straightening.

3:30-5:00PM-Women’s Technique with High Heels, footwork and styling.  
Building balance and flexibility to enhance your tango & adornments.

Collegeville Milonga- After Sunday Workshops at the same location
Dancing 5 to 8PM
