About Melina & Detlef

Melina Sedó and Detlef Engel teach and dance Tango Argentino,
Milonga con Traspié and Tango-Vals worldwide.

Stylistically, they are at home in the traditional tango de salón,
as it is danced in Buenos Aires, and which they interpret in a
 very personal and modern way. Their dance captivates
through its intimate embrace, playful musicality and an
almost puristic elegance: a sensual interplay of man and
woman without cliché or superficial effect. Thus, their tango
is newly created in every single moment, and does not just
express the music, but genuine feeling.

Detlef's and Melina's homeregion is SaarLorLux+,
where their dedication and their unique teaching
concept have set standards over the years
2001 - 2007. They still work there as organizers:
their events have become a fixture of local tango
culture and have inspired visitors from near and far.

Today, Melina and Detlef teach and perform
internationally wherever people want to tango
with sense and sensitivity.
