In June 23rd 2000 Oscar and Roxana met for the very first time at “Plaza
Mayor” while performing for the Stella Milano’s Show “New Age Tango”. This
was the beginning of a very important chain of events in the Tango and
Folklore scene in Miami.
Thus, the past June 23rd marked the 10th anniversary and it is fair to
describe the achievements of Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber union.

Besides performing in very important projects such as “Premio Lo Nuestro” in
Univisión Network, “The Quijote Award”, “Sensual Tango Review”, “Habana
Esquina Tango”, etc.; in 2001 they founded “The Tango Times Dance Company”.
They always were (and of course, they still are) the Directors and the main
Tango Dancers of the Company. The characteristic of this company is that the
dancers where all students at the Tango Times Dance School therefore, they
were trained to dance not only social tango but also stage tango. 
During the first two years, The Tango Times Dance Company performed in
private and public events such as; “Tango Time Show” - Greater Fort
Lauderdale Sister Cities - May 2002; “Viernes Culturales” de la Calle 8 –
June 2002 and “Second Thursday Normandy Village” - 71st. Street - October
2002, to name a few.
In 2003 Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber, decided to go further more. They
started to create, direct and produce their own shows. 
The Leit Motiv of the shows would be “The Streets of Buenos Aires”, and that
was the name of the first show. It was a Dinner Tango Show held at “Las
Copas on The Beach” in Miami Beach on May 30th 2003. There was live music, a
singer and four dancers telling the magic story of a little part of Buenos
Aires. This show was sold out!.
Since then Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber have been creating, directing
and producing two shows a year being always the main dancers of their shows:

They also took the Tango Times Dance Company to perform at FIU, Lynn
University, Pines Day, Polo Cup in West Palm Beach, American Airlines
Arenas, Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Club Español, Wizo Gala Luncheon, YPO
Parties, Lluvia de Estrellas at the Miami Dade County Auditorium, Dancing
With Our Stars at The Brakers, Diversity Celebration in Blue Cross Blue
Shields of Florida, Fundraising with the Symphony of the Americas; Les
Conseillers du Commerce Exterieur de la France at The Vizcaya Museum,
Festivals, Tango Shows Fundraisings in Palm Beach; in Tampa; The Opening
Season Tropical Nights at the Tropical Park, etc.

More than 50 students made their way thru the Tango Times Dance Company
since 2001. And a great deal of them are making a beautiful career in the
world of Tango Dance, some where won Tango Contests, some are dancing
abroad, some are teaching all around the USA, Argentina and Europe.

In the last 10 years Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber thru the Tango Times
Dance Company are leaving a legacy of the best taste of romantic folklore
and sensual argentine tango. 

The Tango Times Dance School is giving birth to new dancers that are
training at the Studio. This coming December 11th 2010, for the
International Day of Tango, 14 Dancers will be performing at the Manuel
Artime Theater with life music.
