6th Annual Regional Argentine Tango Weekend in Asheville, NC
 at the beautiful new venue, the Masonic Temple of Asheville.
 
NOTE:
I have made some budget adjustments, and am going to keep the
event at the Masonic Temple, no matter what happens with
registration from this point on!!  I am hopeful that, as happens
every year, dancers are waiting until the very last minute to
register........
 
This is a fantastic venue for dancing. A beautiful building built in 1915,
with 2- 3000 sq ft wood floors, a huge kitchen , lobby and sitting
areas.....
Please tell your friends who dance, bring NEW dancers......

Come out and join us for a fun filled weekend of classes , practice and social
dancing. New and old friends, challenge yourself, or simply start
down the path to this fantastic social dance of Argentine Tango! A
beautiful and convenient downtown venue,easy parking, great food,
meet new people.... fabulous selection of shoes for sale, massage
available, dancers from all over the SE region and beyond!

2 tracks of classes on Saturday
 
Daniel Arredondo ( Charlotte, Passion for Tango) and Karen Jaffe ( Asheville, Tangogypsies), team up to guide you through  the
“FUN”-damental movements of this dance, including walking, the connection,the  embrace, cross system survival, turning for
navigation, pivots and direction, musicality , etiquette. An introduction for some,NEWCOMERS WELCOME,
great refresher and refinement of technique for more experienced dancers.
 
More experienced dancers can choose “Frontality vs.
Non-Frontality” and “Vals” with Felipe Martinez, and Rosa Corisco (San Francisco),  at a more INT/ADV
level. 
 
All level classes Fri and Sat evening , followed by social
dancing. Sunday a delicious brunch and practica! 
 
A special ADV class w/ Felipe and Rosa on
Sunday (separate charge)

“Olive or Twist” is a bar and restaurant right across the street
and the owner has agreed to have a special  pricing on red wine
