[Tango-A] NA-C: TWO exciting showcases at milonga Nuestro Tango on Fri., July 25 in Chicago for our 9th anniversary plus El Pulpo teaches pre-milonga class

milonga Nuestro Tango, Inc. is THE place to dance (and watch) on Friday, July 25, 2008. 


We will celebrate our 9th anniversary in tango style with 2 spectacular dance exhibitions - Norberto "El Pulpo" Esbrez and Stephanie Lepeu, sponsored by WindyCityTango, Unlimited AND Jorge Torres, of Forever Tango, with Maria Blanco, courtesy of American Tango Institute. The showcases will be around 11:30 p. Phoebe J. Grant will be the guest DJ. Additionally, we'll wish Juan Pinto a very happy birthday.

El Pulpo and Stephanie will teach an All Levels pre-milonga class "Pasos girados: tango in a rounded way", beginning at 7:30 p, with a separate $15 cost. There will be no 'free' class on June 25th. milonga Nuestro Tango, Inc. is danced the LAST Friday of EVERY month at The Latvian Community Center (4146 N. Elston Ave., Chicago) from 9:00 p to 1:00+ a. The hostesses - Valentina Cisar, Carmen Pinto and/or Phoebe J. Grant - provide a light buffet but BYOB; the cover for the milonga is $15.
