It is with tremendous pleasure that I announce the upcoming workshop with Roberto Reis, one of Tango's greatest dancers and choreographers.

Please note that this intensive workshop takes place during the Easter weekend, March 21, 22, and 23. As always, in order to provide the best possible learning experience, we will cap registration at 30 participants or approximately 15 couples.

Roberto Reis does not teach often in the States. So this is truly a rare opportunity not only to study with this great Tango master, but in a small class allowing for a great deal of individual coaching.

Like so many of our great Tango dancers of today, Roberto Reis began as a small boy studying Argentine Folkloric Dance. His career trajectory has carried him through more than 45 countries. He has danced in Tango's most prestigious shows, both at home in Buenos Aires and throughout the world. And upon the stages of the world's most recognized theaters, including our own Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Acclaimed not only as a Tango dancer, but as a choreographer, Roberto has been choreographic director for numerous shows, including Piazzolla Tango, in 2004/2005 and Taconeando, in 2005/2006.

Individual choreographic works include: Lo que vendra, the final number in the show Forever Tango. Libertango for ice dancers Pasha Gritsuk and Evgeni Platov (with which they won the title of "World Champions" in 1997 and won the Olympic Gold Medal in 1998.) And Los Guardianes del Angel, a documentary upon the life of Anibal Troilo.
