Philadelphia

Celebrating the cultural phenomenon that is Tango with Art, Dance,  
Music, Film & Argentine wine!

  * Friday, February 8

    ** Picturing a Dance **
    Works by visual artist and dancer Lesley Mitchell explores
    Tango through its images and its poetry.
    5:30 - 7:45 Opening reception
    UCAL Gallery

    Short performances by Lesley Mitchell & Kelly Ray and
    other members of the Philadelphia Tango community.
    Tango singer Roberto Reis will perform

    7:45 - 8:30 pm Free Tango lesson in 2nd floor studio,
                              open to everyone

Admission to all above:  FREE!

Our regular Milonga follows this event at the same location--

    Milonga
    9 pm dancing starts; 9:15 mini lesson for first time dancers.
    Dancing until 1 am
    Admission: $10 general, $8 full time students with ID

    Celebrate Valentine's Day with an Argentine Wine Tasting!
    Start your Valentine's Day celebration with a Tango
    performance, snacks and wonderful Argentine wine

    Valentine MILONGA with special short performances
    by Los Hermanos Macana
    9 pm dancing starts; 9:15 mini lesson for first time dancers.
