Direct from Buenos Aires, pianist Claudio Mendez and guitarist Daniel Gomez
will be performing live in concert on Friday, May 18th at Sonny Newman's
Dance Hall, www.tangoseattle.com, 201 N. 85th Street, Seattle's Greenwood
District. They focus on traditional Argentine Tango, the richly expressive,
emotional music of the city of Buenos Aires. Their repertory also includes
their own compositions, which originate from a time when tango was
influenced by Astor Piazzola, as well as classical and contemporary academia

and diverse branches of popular Argentine and international music.
