The future fantastical "Meet the Music" salons within Esmeralda's Tango
Salon will be announced regularly!

Last week's Meet the Music Salon: A rip-roaring success-- thanks to ILENE DE
WOODSTOCK for her brilliant organizing and presentation---and to ALICIA
CRUZADO, JOHNNY TABLADA, and JIM and LINDA GUCCI for spontaneous and
enchanting demonstrations! Again thanks for much supportive information from
Dario Mendiguren. And to all of you who joined in this rich hour of sharing
of information and passion. More music salons to be announced with Ilene
(Marder) and Johnny (Tablada), who has offered to contribute talks developed
from his extensive studies and writings on tango music history.

(Illustrative visual material will be included when needed and projected on
the large wall-sized screen. Ilene has produced CDs to assist in our
learning about these "orquestas tipicas". She also provides us with
hand-outs to help us find additional material more easily. You can reach her

$10 admission includes classes.  Beginners (with me) and pre-intermediate
(with JEAN FUNG) held in front and back rooms respectively at 6:30.
