TWO THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR

(1) Hotel will be the "Red Lion Denver Central" ($69 rooms, free
airport shuttle)
(2) Early arrival classes on Wed & Thur.
(3) Limit on class attendance... certainly Eric's classes will fill up.
(4) No Beginner classes

IMPORTANT LIMITATION ON CLASS SIZE

Class Times are posted, but titles and assignments are not set as of
yet.

In order to limit class size and allocate things fairly, there will
be a 50 person limit on some of the classes. In particular, due to
his popularity, Eric's classes will surely sell out. His tickets will
be limited to TWO CLASSES which will be allocated on the basis of who
pays first. This last point will be a problem for people who register
late.

As an additional reward to early registrants, early payment prices
will remain discounted for a few more days.

TANGO FESTIVAL "BY DANCERS, FOR DANCERS"

This festival focuses on social dance. That means we select top DJs,
and arrange the milongas for social dancing. Performances will be
minimal. DJs use tandas, dancers use the cabeceo, chairs sufficient
for everyone, tables arranged around the dance floor. Expect festival
(milonga) attendance of 400-450.

Dance skill at these festivals very high, with many teachers and
skilled dancers in attendance. Typically 1/3 of the dancers are
advanced/professional, 1/3 Adv-Intermediate and 1/3 Intermediate.
There will only be one Intermediate track. The other tracks are a mix
of Adv-Intermediate and Advanced, and assume you already know tango,
are decent with navigation. In other words, these classes will not be
forcused on tango vocabulary (you already know that, right/) be more
about fine technique, quality of movement, concepts.

The best complaint I ever got was from a woman who was quite upset
that she had taken four classes and hadn't yet learned a single
step!. YESS!.

(Nina Pesochinsky nina at earthnet.net is also bringing in Julio &
Corina the same week. Contact her about classes with them, and then
you probably want to purchase a Milonga pass from the Festival.)
