Seattle's 14th Tango Cabaret Returns to the Century Ballroom in Seattle, Aug 10th-11th 2007 7:30pm.

 On Friday, August 10, and Saturday, August 11, Seattle's 14th Tango
 Cabaret hits the stage at the Century Ballroom. The show's feature
 performers are internationally acclaimed Eva Lucero and Patricio
 Touceda.Spectacular tango performances, fine dining, and social dancing will
 celebrate the couple's 5-year sojourn in Seattle.

The pair came to Seattle in September, 2002, to star in Badion's 7th
 Tango Cabaret. They stole the hearts of the Seattle audience, and the
 Pacific Northwest stole the dancers' hearts in turn; Seattle became their
 home.  For the first few years they taught classes and performed in
 shows and at the Buenos Aires Grill. In 2005 they began touring abroad
 with the world-renowned Forever Tango troupe.  Eva and Patricio are
 scheduled to star in a new Cirque de Soleil show in China; the August cabaret
 will be their last dance performance in the US for at least 3 years.

“We are so happy to be back in Seattle for one last performance,”
 Patricio said during a recent rehearsal.
The rest of the cast include dance instructors Kamran Tavakoli and
 Colleen Boyce, Greg Rolnick and Lera Thompson, Michael Tennant and Carol
 Smith, Evan Wallace and Michelle Badion, and vocalist Ellaina Lewis. 

The show explores all types of Argentine tango, from traditional to
 tango fusion. Each number expresses tango in a different way, exploring
 its passion, glamour, humor, and, and fascinating audiences once again
 with the power and beauty of the dance.

The historic Century Ballroom offers a delicious menu for dining before
 the show, a full bar, and great atmosphere. After the show on Friday,
 the evening continues with Argentine tango social dancing. On Saturday,
 the show is followed by a lively salsa dance. Novice dancers can
 participate in the free lesson between the show and dance (tango on Friday,
 salsa on Saturday).
