Seattle's 14th Tango Cabaret Returns to the Century Ballroom in Seattle, Aug 10th-11th 2007 7:30pm.<BR><BR> On Friday, August 10, and Saturday, August 11, Seattle's 14th Tango<BR> Cabaret hits the stage at the Century Ballroom. The show's feature<BR> performers are internationally acclaimed Eva Lucero and Patricio<BR> Touceda.Spectacular tango performances, fine dining, and social dancing will<BR> celebrate the couple's 5-year sojourn in Seattle.<BR><BR>The pair came to Seattle in September, 2002, to star in Badion's 7th<BR> Tango Cabaret. Eva and Patricio are<BR> scheduled to star in a new Cirque de Soleil show in <SPAN id=lw_1184288382_19 style="CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed; HEIGHT: 1em">China</SPAN>; the August cabaret<BR> will be their last dance performance in the US for at least 3 years.<BR><BR>“We are so happy to be back in Seattle for one last performance,”<BR> Patricio said during a recent rehearsal.<BR>The rest of the cast include dance instructors Kamran Tavakoli and<BR> Colleen Boyce, Greg Rolnick and Lera Thompson, Michael Tennant and Carol<BR> Smith, Evan Wallace and Michelle Badion, and vocalist Ellaina Lewis. <BR><BR>The show explores all types of Argentine tango, from traditional to<BR> tango fusion. Each number expresses tango in a different way, exploring<BR> its passion, glamour, humor, and, and fascinating
audiences once again<BR> with the power and beauty of the dance.<BR><BR>The historic Century Ballroom offers a delicious menu for dining before<BR> the show, a full bar, and great atmosphere. After the show on Friday,<BR> the evening continues with Argentine tango social dancing. On Saturday,<BR> the show is followed by a lively salsa dance.
