Brian & Deb are one of North America's most experienced tango couples.
Together as a tango couple since the first time they danced together in
1998, as "Dance of the Heart" they have traveled the United States as
teachers and performers, and were just booked by their Scandinavian fans for
their fifth consecutive annual European tour, including their fourth annual
directorship of their "Tango-In-The-Woods" week-long intensive "training
camp" for couples in Sweden. They have both been devoted full-time to tango
for the last five years. Besides appearing as guest tango artists in
professional productions in Denver, Spokane, Aspen and Santa Fe, they have
co-produced, co-directed and co-starred in their own "AIResTANGO" theatrical
production, shown in nine performances in three cities from 2003-2005. In
Colorado, besides teaching thousands of students in group classes since
1999, they have taught over 2000 private lessons and given countless
performances in venues great and small. Their popular Dance of the Heart
milongas, with Brian serving as resident DJ, have been fixtures on the
Colorado tango scene since 2001. As organizers, they have pioneered with
maestro Luciana Valle the acclaimed TangoIntensivo(tm) sessions in Buenos
Aires, now in their third year, and just completed directing the "Colorado
TangoEncuentro 2007" featuring a historic two-week visit to Boulder by
legendary maestros Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne. The have been guided
in their tango growth and development by hundreds of hours of advanced
instruction from each of these maestros.

As social dancers, they seek through their own tango encounters the
underlying roots of the memorable social tango experience we all hope for.
As performers, their focus is on in-the-moment improvisation to harvest the
gift of the room's attention and reflect it back into the hearts of the
audience with devotion and grace. As teachers, their focus is on a
non-dogmatic, exploratory "integral approach" to the family of tango
experiences. In their acclaimed classes, they highlight for students their
own relentless investigations, in league with the world's foremost tango
explorers, to push the limits of mind, body, and spirit in pursuit of a
greater awareness and wider sharing of the almost infinite possibilities of
the tango relationship-in-motion.

Private lessons are available at $100/hr for couples. Contact us by return
email or at 303-517-1024 for prices for individuals or small groups.

Further details for these workshops and performances (including specific
times) are available at www.tangomoments.com.
