This is a new generation Tango Festival, it's a 3-day celebration of
Argentine Tango Culture and it's evolution which will be held at one of the
most elegant venues in Chicago with participation of several cultural, media
and arts organizations.

TangoJoven 2007 focuses on unique and new perspectives in Argentine Tango,
and to empower women's role in Tango communities.

Our goal is to generate public awareness among dance/music arts aficionados
in Chicago land and Midwest.

TangoJoven is a "tango" festival, embracing ALL styles, ages, and
perspectives.

+ Tanghetto Concert "live in Chicago" on Friday
+ FREE Outdoor Milonga at Grant Park Saturday 6-8pm
+ Friday Night showcases by (Homer&Cristina, Burak&Maria) and guest artists
+ Saturday Night showcases by TangoJoven faculty (Murat&Michelle,
Ney&Jennifer)
+ Sunday Night showcases by Julio Balmaceda & Corina De La Rosa
+ Sunday Night Fundraiser for building elementary schools in rural regions
(Chaco) of Argentina
(raffle for Chicago-BsAs RT Airplane ticket for 2, from American Airlines)

+ In addition to over 20h of Tango workshops, Master level classes by Julio
& Corina Sunday (space limited)
