Come be a part of tango history as Los Angeles joins the international  
community
in celebrating 
The International Day of Tango and birthday of  Carlos Gardel
on Monday, December 11th 
with 
the debut of the Los Angeles Tango Orchestra under the direction of Pablo 
Motta.
In honoring the Art of the Social Dance, eight experienced couples  will 
perform.
The night will also see the debut of a new tango singer, as well  the 
presentation
of the Annual Carlos Gardel Awards.
The event will be held in the architecturally stunning Ahmanson Ballroom of  
the
Skirball Cultural Center. 
$40 (paid before Dec 5th; $50 after Dec. 5th; $25 for full-time students  
with ID)
Your ticket includes all of the above plus appetizer buffet and  
complimentary drink (followed by no-host bar, drinks $2-$7)
Admission is limited and tables will be assigned on a first come  basis..
The evening  promises to be one of Tango's most memorable  nights.
