Film Session, 'The History of Tango in NYC Part 1'
Tango Argentino to Tango Octogenario
Historical Tango treasures never before compiled and shared! ... A
Multimedia presentation narrated by Nelson Avila­ cast member of ŒTango
Argentino¹. the Broadway Show that changed New York Forever! Nelson will
weave together footage from private collections along with anecdotal stories
"straight from the horses mouth'. He will focus on and the role it played in
NYC becoming a major tango center starting with Madalyn Klein and Alex
Turney - two of NY¹s first students. The story will conclude with ŒTango
Octogenario¹ starring Alex Turney and his late wife Jean.
