SEAN Dockery and CHARITY Lebron Teach Argentine Tango Mondays at Lake
Merritt Dance Center.

September 4 and 11 and October 30, 2006

Sean and Charity share both a passion for Argentine Tango and a deep
desire to pass all they know along to their students.  Each class they
teach has a well thought out pedagogy based on each of their experiences
in teaching and learning dance and music.

Sean Dockery's spent 3 ½ months in Buenos Aires where he intensively
studied Tango dance and music. Upon returning from Argentina Sean worked
with Homer Ladas. He has studied with many of the most avant-garde tango
instructors in the world and now enjoys sharing his love for the dance
with students. Sean also enjoys DJing traditional and alternative mixes
at milongas and practicas in the bay area.

Charity Lebrón began dancing in 1999 when she attended her first class
of Argentine Tango with Homer Ladas. Though she quickly became obsessed
with Tango, she continued to study and teach other many dances including
Salsa, Swing, and all of the American style ballroom dances. This has
given her a unique and open-minded perspective on connection,
musicality, and body mechanics, while maintaining a respect and love for
Argentine Tango’s roots. In 2005 she began traveling and teaching with
Homer Ladas to inspire tango communities across the U.S., Canada, and
Puerto Rico. She has studied with some of the most creative and
innovative teachers Tango has to offer.

  7:30-8:15 p.m.            Beginner class without practice $10
            			 Beginner class with practice $15
8:30-9:30 p.m.            Intermediate class with practice $15
                                  (Both classes plus practice $20)
9:30-10:30 p.m.          Practica alone $5


SEAN and CHARITY will also teach and perform at our LAKE MERRITT MILONGA on
Saturday, September 9, 2006, Class 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Dance 9:00 pm -
12:00 pm.  Price $15 class & dance – $12 dance only (Refreshments
included) . Music by DJ – Emilio Flores.
