Hi VJ,

In the UWL, "Reserve" is called "Assign to me", and "Replace" is called
"Cancel Assignment".

These buttons show automatically with the standard configuration of the
UWL.

Obviously only either "Assign to me" or "Cancel Assignment" would be
showing for any one work item at any one time as they are opposites.

If the buttons are not showing then check what has been configured for
your UWL - it's possible that the buttons may have been deactivated e.g.

* Globally in the Portal Content Directory entry for the UWL -
look for a property along the lines of "uwl actions to be hidden"

* Specifically in the UWL XML configuration - I'd suggest check
whether someone has created a custom version of the uwl.standard file or
uwl.webflow file for starters.

Also if the users are seeing Assign to Me when they back out of the
work item - they may need to refresh the inbox (assuming they are on a
portal less than 7.2 SP4 when the immediate forced automatic refresh is
an option) to make the Cancel Assignment button appear.

Regards,

Jocelyn

Subject: RE: UWL Replace option or Replace button

Hi,

The current PO approval workflow may potentially be sent to more than
one person so if one person goes into the approval workflow they are
effectively starting the process - if they back out of it as they decide
the PO is not for them to approve this means that the workflow is no
longer available for any other approver to action.

Is there anything that we can do so that the workflow remains available
to the approvers until the PO is either approved or rejected?

In SBWP the users have 2 choices

1). To forward the workitem to the actual approver using the forwarding
option

2). Choose the replace option to convert the workitem from status in
process to status new.

In UWL.

Currently we have only the Forward option and the users feel it is quite
difficult to forward it as the UI to forward in UWL is not that easy.

In our UWL we don't have the Replace option or Replace button. Any idea
how to enable this button in UWL?

Thanks

VJ
